Bluelight Skin

This is BL's old skin:

It has not been updated to v4 of vBulletin so we can't just download an update.

There are some really good blue themes around, most of which are around $30/40 USD.

For the time being, I'm going to work on the Default vB4 skin, it's not going to be well accepted but we'll have plenty of time to vote/buy a new skin later.

Thoughts?

As long as we vote and come to an agreement about what a good skin for BL would be, I think thats fantastic (and I'd be glad to pick up the cost as a donation to BL)

If you wanna grab a few you think are good options and put them on here for us to peruse and vote on/choose from that would be great!

Obviously blue is an important part of the theme.

which is similar to one you had listed Cane, is one of my faves. Its just a bit more blue than the 'Aria Carbon' , in fact it is called 'Aria Blue' I believe.

^ I like that first one a lot; it's probably my favorite. The second one isn't bad but a but bright for my tastes.

Closely followed by Blue Saint (the link that phrozen posted), except it doesn't have enough blue to it, in my opinion.

I did also like Element, but Aria Blue takes the cake for me

It looks very cool.... It will definitely take some getting used to, though, haha

Meh....aria blue, ok. Honestly, I'm not that excited, but have no issues with it either as it sticks pretty close to our existing color scheme. Buttons are throwing me off, tbh. I'd like a day or so to ensure when we go mobile we'll translate well enough, but if it's bought...it's bought. No reason to hold back or slow things down. If Chris can provide the files to hoptis, we'll get 'er up and running with that, and change later if needed (most likely no need to change anything but my attitude).

Forgot to mention emails were just fixed on the new server last night, so the sites (TL/BL/PR) can send emails now. This is the sort of thing that we need to pick up before the site can go live... I mean I don't want to push it out too long but my personal feeling is that putting out a site that is missing or has broken such basic functionality isn't a good thing... but I'm a perfectionist. :\
